Cabrillo National Monument

One of the most beautiful spots in San Diego is at the end of Point Loma at the Cabrillo National Monument. From Cabrillo, you can see all of downtown San Diego, Coronado Island, the San Diego Bay, and even mountains in the far distance.  Cabrillo Monument marks the landing point where Juan Rodriguez Cabrillo stepped into history as the first European to set foot on what is now the West Coast of the United States in 1542.

The Cabrillo National Park is open from 9am-5pm and costs $5 per vehicle to enter. Once inside, there's trails, guided tours, nature, an old lighthouse, history, and amazing views of America's Finest City!
